I think my real-life octopus got lost in the post =(.
(Although, there is no ticks or signature on the customs thingy on the back - so maybe it was just air? Lol!)

New Carpet =D
Well, today we got new carpet =) Our old carpet was getting pretty nasty.
It was hard to empty all the furniture and stuff out of rooms -
And it was hard finding places to pile everything...
But a plus side of moving everything was that everything got a well-needed dust!
After they ripped up the old carpet, we signed the slab - so future people would see it...
Then the new underlay and carpet went down =)
Moke... sort of supervised... well... mostly slept!
The floors look awesome, but it is going to take a while to move everything back into the rooms - and we did vacuum it after these pics were taken.
I was pretty impressed with how they joined the pieces of carpet together! They had a big steamy melty thing that they used and you can hardly see the joins =D

I had a lovely mattress bed on the floor |
Elle arranged things from her desk on the square of floor where the desk should be... |
The stuff I got to keep out of the boxes |
And it was hard finding places to pile everything...
I'd have to diet to fit out that door... |
Poor Fred is a bit surrounded in there... |
Somewhere through there is a kitchen... |
But a plus side of moving everything was that everything got a well-needed dust!
After they ripped up the old carpet, we signed the slab - so future people would see it...
We found a mysterious "post hole" in the slab! So Time Team... |
