Day 3: Signs!

Signs seen while shopping...
Is it large enough?
No tongs? But how do they serve up chips and stuff?

Day 3: Bushwalking! (Or Bush-Scooting!)

On the third day of our holiday, we went on a bushwalk (or in my case, a bush scoot). It was really nice! We saw lots of birds and parrots, and one lizard. It has been so long since I could go anywhere like that - I love my scooter! The track was very scooter-friendly, with ramps as well as steps!
I'm not sure what kind of birds these were, but there were lots of them!
A lizard sunning itself under the boardwalk!
Footprints! lol
The sky was a little foreboding...
A cockatoo eating something off a tree
Some kind of rosella?
A kookaburra - jealous at the attention we were giving to the parrots... He flew down and landed on a tree in the foreground.
Corellas in a tree =D

Day 3: Even More Birdies!

On the third morning of our holiday, the kookaburra came to visit us again =)

Day 3: More Birdies!

Just some pictures of some white-winged choughs out the door of our motel room =D They had babies with them, and the adults would take food to the babies! Cute!
And they liked eating MILLIPEDES!!! lol!

Day 3: Sunrise

On day 3 of our holiday, Ellenya convinced me to watch the sunrise... it was freezing cold and the 'Off' didn't keep the mozzies off... It was very pretty, though, and the kookaburras came to see what we were doing =D

Day 2: The Steps of Doom

After a long snooze, Elle and I went for a wander (well, I scooted) around the motel grounds. We ended up at the steps of doom (steep steep steps that went down into the water lol). I bum-slid down them with my crutch.
At the bottom of the steps, I abandoned the crutch, and sat with my feet in the water =D It was nice!
 The view was nice too!
But then there was the dilemma of climbing back up the steps of doom... I did it with one crutch and one fist, and a sort of spider clamber - the houseboat people laughed lol! Then we rested at the top, and I met a tiny spider...
